Plain-English terms

Service terms

Last updated 15 September 2026

These terms apply to every website project from Loomino. Each project also has a written scope, which lists the pages, features, timeline and price. If the scope and these terms ever disagree, the signed scope wins.

1. Who you’re working with

Loomino is a web studio run by Dhruv, based in Delhi, India. All work is done remotely. You can reach me at [email protected].

2. Scope

  • Before any payment, you receive a written scope listing exactly what will be built.
  • Anything not in the scope — extra pages, new features, logo design, ongoing marketing — is quoted separately and only done if you agree in writing.
  • The Founding Client Website covers up to five pages. The One-Page Starter covers a single page.

3. Price and payment

  • Prices are fixed, in US dollars, and stated on the invoice.
  • 50% is due before work begins. The remaining 50% is due after you approve the preview and before the website is launched.
  • Invoices can be paid by card or bank transfer. Any bank or currency conversion fees charged by your provider are yours.
  • Domain registration and any paid hosting or third-party services are paid by you directly to those providers.

4. Timeline

  • Delivery takes five working days for the Founding Client Website and three for the One-Page Starter.
  • The clock starts the working day after both the deposit and all required information have been received: services, service area, logo, photos, contact details and access to your domain.
  • Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Indian public holidays listed in your scope.
  • The timeline covers my work. Time spent waiting for your feedback or revisions is not included.

5. Revisions

  • The Founding Client Website includes two revision rounds. The One-Page Starter includes one.
  • A revision round is one consolidated list of changes within the agreed scope.
  • Additional rounds or out-of-scope changes are quoted before any work is done.

6. Your content

You confirm that you have the right to use the logos, photos and information you send, and that details such as licences, prices and service claims are accurate. I write and edit copy based on what you provide; you are responsible for checking it before launch.

7. Ownership

  • Once the balance is paid, you own the website: the code, design files, written copy and any images I created for it.
  • Your domain and hosting are set up in accounts in your name. I do not hold them on your behalf.
  • Open-source software, fonts and any stock assets remain under their own licences, which allow your use.
  • Until the balance is paid, the preview remains private and is not transferred.
  • I may ask to show the finished website in my portfolio. I only do so with your written permission.

8. Cancellation and refunds

  • Before work starts: you can cancel for any reason and your deposit is refunded in full.
  • After work starts: you can cancel at any time. The deposit covers the work already done and is not refunded, and you receive the files produced so far.
  • If I miss the timeline by more than three working days for reasons within my control, you can cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit.
  • If a project is paused by you for more than 30 days without contact, I may close it. The deposit covers work done, and the project can be restarted by agreement.

9. After launch

If something I built doesn’t work as described in the scope, I fix it free of charge. Changes after launch, new content, or problems caused by later edits or third-party services are quoted per task.

10. Responsibility

I build every website carefully and test it before launch, but I can’t guarantee specific search rankings, enquiry numbers or sales. My total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for it.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the version in place when you signed your scope continues to apply to your project.
